Piko Interactive Collection 4 — What’s on the Cartridge?

Piko Interactive Collection 4 is Cartridge 39 in the Evercade library, and it’s a genuinely interesting one. Ten games spanning the 8-bit to 64-bit eras, pulled from platforms including the NES, SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Mega Drive/Genesis, and Nintendo 64. If you’ve already worked through the bigger-name collections and want something with a bit more discovery to it, this one delivers.

Here’s exactly what you get on the cartridge:

The Highlights

Glover is arguably the headline act — a 3D platformer from the Nintendo 64 era where you play as a sentient glove keeping a magic ball out of harm’s way. It’s charming, inventive, and a genuine piece of gaming history that holds up surprisingly well.

Sküljagger: Revolt of the Westicans is a cult SNES side-scroller that never got the attention it deserved first time around. Vibrant, full of personality, and well worth discovering — it’s a particular fan favourite for good reason.

Risky Woods brings some atmospheric action from the Mega Drive/Genesis. If you enjoy that era of 16-bit platforming, it’s a solid entry that often flies under the radar.

Zero Tolerance Underground is an impressive 16-bit first-person shooter from Randall Reiss, running on the Mega Drive/Genesis. The fact that this exists on a 16-bit machine at all is remarkable — it’s a technical curiosity as much as a game.

Target: Renegade and Bad Street Brawler both bring classic NES brawler action to the collection, while Street Racer adds some SNES racing variety and Star X gives GBA fans a space shooter to enjoy.

Original Manuals Included

One of the things Piko does well is preserving the history around these games — seven of the ten titles on this cartridge come with original manual scans, linked in the game list above. It’s a nice touch that adds real collector appeal to the package.

Is It Worth Picking Up?

If you’re the kind of Evercade collector who enjoys digging into lesser-known titles rather than just the heavy hitters, Piko Interactive Collection 4 is exactly the kind of cartridge that makes the platform special. The range of platforms alone — NES through to N64 — makes it a genuinely varied play session every time you slot it in.

It works on all current Evercade hardware, whether you’re playing on the EXP-R handheld, the Super Pocket handheld, the VS-R home console, or the Alpha arcade cabinet.
