HANDHELD DEVICES
Super Pocket — From £49.99
The most affordable Evercade device and the smallest. Each edition comes with 12–50 built-in games from a specific publisher (Taito, Capcom, Atari, Technōs, Neo Geo, Data East, Rare), plus a full Evercade cartridge slot. If you want to try the Evercade ecosystem without a large commitment, or need something that genuinely fits in a shirt pocket, this is the one to start with.
Evercade EXP-R
The mid-range Evercade handheld. A bigger, brighter 4.3″ screen than the Super Pocket, TATE mode for vertical arcade games, and the full Evercade cartridge library. No built-in games, but no analogue sticks either — this is the right choice for 8-bit and 16-bit cartridge gaming on the go without the premium of the Nexus.
Evercade Nexus — £169.99 (October 2026)
The flagship Evercade handheld. The biggest screen in the handheld range (5.89″), dual analogue sticks for 3D titles, WiFi 6, and EverSync for local wireless multiplayer between two Nexus units — with only one player needing the cartridge. If you want the best handheld experience and intend to play 32 and 64-bit titles, this is the device to get.
HOME COMPUTER HANDHELDS
THEC64 Handheld — £109.99 (October 2026)
A clamshell portable built around the Commodore 64, with 25 built-in C64 games, 6 hardware configurations, MicroSD expansion, and a USB-A port for connecting a real keyboard or joystick. Unlike the main Evercade handheld range, it does not take Evercade cartridges — instead it uses MicroSD for game expansion. The retro beige finish and tactile plastic function keys are a loving nod to the original hardware.
The Spectrum Handheld — £109.99 (October 2026)
The ZX Spectrum equivalent — same hardware as the C64 model but with 25 built-in Spectrum games, 8 Spectrum system configurations (from 16K through to +3e), rubber function keys matching the original, and the iconic rainbow stripe design. MicroSD expansion and USB-A connectivity included. As with the C64 model, this does not use Evercade cartridges.
HOME CONSOLES & ARCADE
Evercade VS-R
The only Evercade device that connects to your TV. 1080p HDMI output, dual cartridge slots, four USB controller ports for up to four players, and built-in WiFi. If you want the Evercade experience on a big screen or plan on playing with friends and family, the VS-R is your only option in the current lineup.
Evercade Alpha — From £229.99
A pre-assembled bartop arcade cabinet with an 8″ IPS screen, competition-grade arcade controls, dual cartridge slots, and two USB ports for two-player play. Available in three editions (Street Fighter, Mega Man, Taito) each with 6–10 built-in games. The Alpha is a statement piece as much as a gaming device — it sits on a desk or counter and is primarily a home display unit rather than a portable or living room console.
NOT SURE WHICH TO CHOOSE?
The Super Pocket is the best starting point if you are new to Evercade. Pick the edition that matches the games you love and add Evercade cartridges as you go. If you already know you want the full Evercade cartridge experience, the EXP-R is the most accessible entry point, and the Nexus is the one to save up for.
