WHAT’S ACTUALLY CONFIRMED
- A DOOM-branded Evercade release is officially happening — this isn’t a rumour or fan mockup, it’s a genuine Blaze Entertainment announcement.
- It’s coming in the form of a physical cartridge, consistent with how every other Evercade release works.
- It ties in with id Software’s 35th anniversary.
WHAT’S STILL SPECULATION
- Which games are included. Blaze hasn’t published a lineup. Outlets have floated DOOM, DOOM II: Hell on Earth, Ultimate DOOM, Final DOOM, and possibly DOOM 64 — but none of that is official yet.
- Price and release date. Blaze has only said more details are coming “later in 2026.”
- A tie-in with the Evercade Wireless Controller. Several outlets have connected this release to the new Wireless Controller (confirmed for 28 September 2026, £34.99, for VS/VS-R/Alpha), reasoning that a proper dual-stick pad matters for a shooter.
