Retro Rulez has posted a video of his hacked Evercade on Youtube – very interesting stuff – I know he’s still a big fan, and has a full collection of cartridges, so I believe this is more of a hobby for him, as opposed to piracy.
It’s great to see that the Evercade is such a capable machine under the hood.
Check out the first live session set up by the Unofficial Evercade Facebook group.
It was a great chat (almost 2 hours!) and I was delighted to be part of.
Thanks to ItsMuchMore for hosting and to Roger and Pete for organising it, and the special guest UK Kraut Gaming.
Some of the games on backorder for the Evercade with Funstock have started shipping early (It was supposed to be end of August).
I had ordered the Technos collection (and 2 others in a separate order) and that cart has shipped as I just got the email. Happy days !!
People have been asking for ways to make Evercade multiplayer and Evercade have responded on their official twitter account.
No multiplayer for “this” device – does that mean ever ? Or just on this iteration of the hardware….Hmmm…..
Evercade has signed a new publisher, they have revealed, on their official twitter account:
Gizmodo has just recommended the Evercade as the “The best portable console for casual retro gamers” – check out the article here: https://gizmodo.com/the-very-best-retro-game-consoles-1844610650
Dunno how I missed this one about a week ago, but Evercade have confirmed on their official Twitter account that there will be new slicker looking menus on the new carts that are coming out soon.
Feast your eyes on these beauties:
Check out this video of someone who has hacked the evercade to run some other non-official games.
Big shoutout to the Non Official Evercade Fans Facebook Group – they have a great community over there and run competitions and challenges all the time – if you’re an Evercade fan you should definitely join them.
